Here are just a few photos of what Daniel is doing at CLC (Conductive Learning Center). We will call it his report card in pictures. I cannot express how happy I am with his progress here.
First set of photos - Daniel is learning to move from one location to another by laying on his back, lifting his hips and pushing back. You will see from the things in the background (the wicker basket) that he has pushed himself backwards. (YIPEE for movement!)
|
Flat feet (arms at side - never use to do this!) |
|
Lift & Push |
|
Tada! (arms up for the hooray!) |
Second set of photos: Sit to stand (BY HIMSELF!)
|
Notice the flat feet...no tippy toes! |
| | | | | | |
SUCCESS! See how tall he is standing!
|
Now for something really really neat....
|
Stepping without being helped. Only being spotted!

How's that for a good report card!!
There are many more photos but I won't bore you with them....at least not right now! :)

so awesome!!! i'd love to be "bored" with more photos of how fantastic he's doing!! (ok - so its not boring at all - it's exciting!!!!) keep up the great work!
I love it! Awesome photos. Daniel looks fabulous. I am so excited for you guys.
That is so amazingly wonderfully awesome! He is right where he needs to be. Making milestones, those aren't just inchstones in these pics!
Oh my goodness - I am soooo excited for Daniel. I'm thinking this might be something we should look into for Emma. Was he moving from sit to stand before CLC? How about moving with a walker? I am just amazed at how quick the progress seems since you moved and started the CLC!!!! Way to go!
Not boring, EXCITING! More pictures please :)
Those pictures were not boring, they were awesome!! Way to go Daniel!! I work as a special education teacher at a school that seems to be similar to Daniel's. If he is learning to "scoot" on his back, have they talked about putting him on a scooter board where he can lie on his back and push with his legs? I have a student who used to do that; he'd travel all over the room on his scooter!
Thanks! Hey Anonymous-
What school do you teach at? if you don't mind me asking?
You can email me privately if you'd rather not say on here!
