It was a beautiful weekend wasn't it? For the most part. There were a couple thunderstorms, but I also think those are beautiful. I love nothing more than a really good storm.
The one thing that stinks is when its warm Daniel can't be outside for more than a few minutes. With the medications he is on, he can't sweat. This is dangerous if not carefully monitored. So we try to get out before it gets too hot, or if it is hot, we keep it short and sweet.
We went for bike rides this weekend. The child LOVES being outside.

Great video, he sure does a wonderful job riding.
Junior has an adapted bike kind of like that and loves to get out and ride.
GO DANIEL GO! XOXO

Very cool! I mean, bike riding is wonderful and he looks great!
Does it help if his skin is wet?

Love the bike! It looks like your little man does too! I think my son Walter is the same age... I'm looking to connect with other parents of children with CP and I found you through the CPP list.
Love the video! He is doing awesome on the bike - way to go Daniel! He is just so darn cute!
Looks like fun! Not sure where you got the bike, but have you ever heard of AMBUCS? They provide adapted amtrykes for FREE to kids! Not sure how it works where you live, but here in Illinois you just find a sponsor hospital site and they help from there! Just wanted to let you know, as all adapted equipment is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced! You can google AMBUCS to learn more.
Go Daniel! What a cool bike! Faith is the same boat with being out in the sun. We have to be so careful! Carl sometimes thinks that I overreact but she can't be outside in the summer for 10 min. and she is just like Daniel, beet red! And she wilts just like a little flower. It breaks my heart! We had therapeutic riding today at 3pm and it was a covered riding ring. After 20 min. she looked like she had run a marathon and we had to take a break.
