Daniel, You are my inspiration, i love you so much, you have taught me so much about life and how to appreciate everything that comes our way. You mean so much to me and i would never trade you for the world. Thanks for being so strong, yet so young, you are amazing and nothing less, you're my world and i love you so much. You never realize how much someone means to you, especially considering how you can brighten up my day, just smiling at me as soon as i walk in the door, and suddenley anything that was bothering me is gone. I love you D, you are my main squeeze. Love, Your sister.

Hi Daniel and Family, Daniel looks great! Did he ever have problem holding his head up? My son was diagnosed with Bilateral Perisylvian PMG by Dr. Dobyns. He is going on 16 months and still cannot hold his head up or track with his eyes. Does Daniel have this problem? I am so glad he seems so alert and is able to expressed himself - laughing, crying, etc. We are still trying to control Aiden's seizure but is not having much luck. Good luck with Daniel and keep us updated. Thanks. Shawna, mom to Aiden

Hello Daniel and mom & dad & sisters! Great website you have!! Our son has also bilateral perysilvian polymicrogyria. He is now 7 months old and he is in the hospital. You can visit our website www.familieplanckaert.be but it's in dutch (sorry for this). But if you don't understand it, you can look at the pictures :-) Good luck with Daniel!! Thank you for sharing your website. My son has recently been diagnosed with PMG. We are currently researching this diagnosis and waiting for a list of appts. with specialists. Your description of the trip to Italy is the best I have seen. I would not trade my Nathan for the world, but this diagnosis has killed many of my dreams. However, I am thankful that Nathan will not know the difference and that he may still dream his own dreams. God bless Daniel and your family.

Hi- I just read your journal and want to tell you about what we did when our micropreemie (25 weeker) was diagnosed with severe apraxia. We got Carlson's brand fish oil from Whole Foods because it is the best in the world for being chemically free. Every night, she would get a spoonfull of that and then a spoonfull of a flax blend oil. There are a lot on the market. The key is to mix Omega 3s with Omega 6s. Anyway, she did do speech therapy, so who knows what works, but she is now ahead of actual age in speech and no longer apraxic.

We are not rich or anything but I can do lots on the computer or make phone calls for you or track down information you need. My sister is a nurse and she has ways of finding organizations or funding maybe that would be of help to you now or in the future. Your son is adorable and I know he is a blessing to you. I have a nephew who is autistic and I know some of the challenges of having a Special Need's member of the family. He is our pride and joy and he is 16 now. I will keep Daniel in my prayers and please feel free to call me if there is anything I can do to help you out. What I remember most about working with your dad is that he could always make us smile and laugh (really laugh, the belly busting kind of laugh). It looks like from the pictures that he is able to do that for you and your family. I hope you continu to grow well and strong, and know that I too am praying for you. God Bless ! Jane

Hi Daniel! I hope this finds you happy and growing into a big boy! You are probably wondering how and why we share the same last name...well...I am a first cousin of your grandpa Mouser and your Aunt Nancy I adored your grandpa growing up (he was two years older than me), even when we were children, he was quite the character, always fun, creative and needless to say very mischievous! I worked at Beaumont Hospital for ten years before moving to Arizona, you are in such good hands there. It was very nice to know your physical therapy is being done there and you are doing so well! checking up on you Daniel and it looks like you have been a busy boy. Wow ! I don't know how your mom keeps up with your schedule, I do know (from experience) it is exhausting.

The Pictures were beautiful to say the least. Thank you for sharing them. Even though we've had the dx of PMG for 4 years now your words of wisdom were encouraging. Daniel is so lucky to have you as parents. This was very uplifting emotionally. Take care Blessings,
