UUUUGH Monday

For whatever reason today, Daniel was super emotional.

He was laying in bed with me and one minute he'd be smiling and the next we would have the biggest boo-boo lip known to man-kind.

This is what sucks. I know something was up, and he was upset. But because he is non-verbal, its all a guessing game. So I laid there and tried to comfort him, and guess what was wrong.

We got ready for school and all seemed to be going fine. Put him in the car and pulled out of the driveway and I hear "home" and look and there is Daniel with the boo-boo lip, looking at the house. "home".

Agh, Daniel you're killing me with that lip kiddo. I could only respond with a cracked voice-
"Lets go play with Ms. Mills, then we can come home"

Mr. Non-verbal sounds like he is becoming QUITE verbal. It too makes me sad, but am so, so, so happy for you. He is doing amazing! Much love to you & your handsome boy!

awwwwwwwwww..he's hoping for a summer vacation I imagine. Btw, even though he is precious no matter what, I loved his curly long hair--(post below this one) what a beauty of a boy..he's got a striking personality you can see it in the glimmers that show off in his glowing amazing eyes.

happy monday!

oh my gosh, it is so hard when you don't know what they want and then to top it off he is saying home and you can't give him what he wants. I know it would be so easy to say OK we will stay home but we all know our kids are too smart and he would definitley use it to his advantage the next time. I am sure he is fine at school. Evan will sometimes cry on the bus and I hate to leave him but I know he is fine not even 2 minutes into the ride. It has definitley gotten easier thought.

There must be something in the air... Logan's had one heck of a day. We went to his school to give his classmates their crowns. Logan was in tears just about the entire time we were there. I couldn't concentrate on anything other than him. Him being completely non-verbal surely doesn't help anything.

I despise the guessing game. Is it just one of those days are is something truly the matter? Who knows.... so frustrating and heart breaking.

It is SO hard! When he does use words, you cannot give him what he wants. So frustrating.
